Three sources, one hole
Run separately, as the watch item requires. Parakeet has no gap at or above 3 seconds. WhisperKit lost 24:48.7 to 25:17.8, 29.1 seconds, and the GUI export lost the same window down to a tenth of a second, which is the shared-hole pattern segment 04 produced. WhisperKit truncates at “which helps” and resumes at “What I really like about them,” so either Whisper file alone reads as a finished sentence. Parakeet blocks 364 through 372 carry what is missing: cooler conditions under tunnels, the St. George county agent, the DIY tunnel design, and the address tunnel.usu.edu. Only Parakeet has that address anywhere.
Nine Parakeet gaps fall between 0.4 and 0.6 seconds. Eight span complete sentences. The ninth, block 159 into 160, does not: “your magic number is” then “You can go a little bit above that.” WhisperKit supplies “two,” and the audio confirms it. One word, recovered into a fixed skeleton.
WhisperKit block 86 starts before block 87 and carries one word. Parakeet has no out-of-order pair.
Corrections Applied
Names and organizations. Alan Armitage to Allan Armitage (380). Engine disagreements and who won
Twelve calls, three to Parakeet. Parakeet keeps “when he” in block 236, “store excuse me drain” in 114, “thirstiest drink, thirstiest crops” in 355, and “down in south in St.” in 367, each a false start WhisperKit smoothed away. Segment 04 went six of eleven to Parakeet and segment 03 seven of eight, so the text engine winning most of them here is the outlier, not the pattern.

Two of the twelve could not be settled by listening, because the competing readings are homophones in connected speech. “Break down an ad” and “break down and add” sound identical, and so do “status” and “statice.” Sense decides both, and segment 04 settled the same shape at its block 268. Where a resolution rests on sense rather than sound, it is marked as such above rather than recorded as heard.
Speaker labels. The GUI export puts the recorded bio and Stock’s reply to it under LaTora, the fifth of seven exports to misplace a handoff. Parakeet’s diarization is right through the body and wrong across the closing exchange, where it gives LaTora four blocks that belong to Stock. Both were mapped against content. The bio narrator is labeled Bethany Harris on the acoustic match between this bio and segment 04’s, which is the closest pair of the four compared and well clear of the next.

Notes for later stages
- tunnel.usu.edu lives across blocks 370, 371, and 372, and smallfarmslab.com across 42 and 43. Stage 5 joins each with no space. Bedrock forbids merging the blocks.
- Stock spoke both her addresses, which breaks the two-segment run of on-screen addresses nobody read aloud. The closing QR code at 27:16 is a USU survey and not a contact, so nothing is owed at Stage 3.
- Block 169 stays as spoken. A later stage that quotes it should quote it, not repair it.
- 171 blocks run past two lines. That goes to the caption-editor pass with the rest of the symposium.
