SOURCE VERIFICATION

Skeleton Kate_parakeet.srt (301 blocks), text Kate_whisperkit.srt (66), names Kate Cassity-Duffey.srt GUI export (68). Corrected 301 ✓ MATCH. 00:00:00,080 to 00:20:18,080. Media 1218.516 s, ffprobe on device. All three read in full.

Coverage proof

  • Early ~0:36: she calls this “part one” and pivots to snapdragons, not the sunflowers and lisianthus her bio promised.

  • Middle ~10:44: plant dates January 7 and March 11, 100 lb N at planting, 50 lb side-dressed, potash for potassium.

  • Late ~19:52: groups index time to flowering, and higher groups run longer stems.

Three sources, four holes

13:47.6 to 13:51.6 (4.0 s)both Whisper passesParakeet only

The shared hole carries a cultivar name. Block 189, “Potomac Lavender here on our left,” is in no Whisper output; both resume at “It did okay,” so either alone reads complete with a selection silently gone. WhisperKit also has three out-of-order pairs (23/24, 52/53, 55/56), each with a repetition loop. Parakeet has none.

Corrections Applied

Names. Kate Cassidy Duffy and Kate Cashti-Duffey to Kate Cassity-Duffey (2, 4, 18, 248, 300). Madam / madden / matter butterfly to Madame Butterfly (84, 95, 104, 111, 294).

Cultivars. Botamic / Botanic Orange to Potomac Orange (177, 178) and Totanic lavender to Potomac Lavender (189), on in-transcript evidence: Parakeet renders Potomac correctly at 253, where the moderator names the same cultivar. Lysianthus and Lizzie’s to lisianthus (24, 239, 298).

Terminology. cut flour to cut flower (6), local forest to local florists (31), tatted to tattered (46), a mobilization to immobilization (67), fuel to field production (74), high total to high tunnel studies (99), long base life to long vase life (180), sends to stems per plant (221), seed mental transplant to seed until transplant (259), drop an ad to drop and add (268). Snapdragon lowercased throughout.

GUI text adopted where the CLI dropped the window. Block 10, Parakeet’s “The old girl in Sunflowers and Lizzie Anthas” to “field-grown sunflowers and lisianthus.”

Engine disagreements and who won

Eleven calls, six to Parakeet. Segment 03 went seven of eight that way, segment 02 four of seven. The role split stays a starting point, not a rule.

Speaker boundaries moved

Parakeet put eight turns on the wrong side. GUI label lag is now 4 for 4: its block 62 opens with Gabrielle’s “Thank you, Dr. Cassity-Duffey” under Kate’s label, and 65 through 68 do the same.

  • 265, 266, 274, 287, 288 to Gabrielle LaTora. Acknowledgments Parakeet left with the presenter.
  • 269, 281, 282 to Kate Cassity-Duffey. Answer openings Parakeet left with the moderator.

Block 279 mixes speakers, the first in the symposium to do so. Kate’s “I’m trying to make sure,” an off-mic “Yes,” her “Yes, that’s what I did,” and the moderator’s “Perfect. Okay, one more” all sit in one 7.8 s block. Bedrock forbids splitting it, so it stays whole under Kate’s label and Stage 5 places the turn changes inside the paragraph. Fast chat Q&A does this; a moderated handoff does not.

Audio sweep, closed the same session, all ten markers

Three suspect agreements (44, 62, 130), all unchanged. With segment 03’s four flagged and two moved, that is seven flagged agreements and two real errors over two segments. Keep raising them, keep expecting most to hold.

The cultivars are French cities. Antibes, Avignon and Cannes are one naming family. Hearing “Antibes” made “Cannes Light Bronze” legible where “cans like bronze” was opaque; neither would have resolved alone.

Two decisions bind later stages and are carried in the log STATUS block: Kate is corrected on Potomac’s group in the chat at 19:43 and accepts it, so no deliverable states Potomac is group one; and 166 keeps the arabic “Avignon Lavender 2” the engines gave, though 159 is now the audio-confirmed “Antibes Apricot I”.

New rows for the hub reference

Seven rows were added directly to hub section 4 rather than duplicated here: Antibes Apricot, Cannes Light Bronze and American Takii (all audio-settled 2026-08-10), Potomac for the five renderings above, Avignon Lavender, Costa Summer, and long vase life.

Format

Compliance is the srt_hygiene.py output above, not a restatement of it. 148 of 301 blocks run past two lines, so the symposium-wide caption-editor pass applies here too.
